Why is this important for team effectiveness?
Our mental processes influence how we go about our lives, our jobs and our personal interactions. By having a deeper understanding of how individuals perceive and process their experiences in order to make meaning (also known as learning styles), teams are able to honour the diversity in the group and develop a renewed sense of the need for open dialogue with due respect for members preferences. The resulting effect is enhanced communication and more effective teamwork.
What is included in 4MAT 4 Teams?
2 Online Assessments
- Learning Type Measure – The LTM provides guidance in all situations where learner differences play a role in communication and human interactions.
- Hemispheric Mode Indicator – The HMI provides an indication of brain hemisphere dominance. Knowledge of the functions of the hemispheres and enhanced awareness of one’s favoured mode is shown to have a growth effect.
