An interactive 1 day workshop aimed at developing new skills and perspectives about self and the development of others.
This workshop focuses on three core concepts:
Celebrating Diversity
This section introduces leaders to the natural cycle of learning, their own learning styles and their brain mode preferences. The objective is to gain an understanding of the different style behaviours, implications of the mode preferences and ultimately how these play out in the cycle of learning and development for self and others.
Our mental processes influence how we go about our lives, our jobs and our personal interactions. By having a deeper understanding of how individuals perceive and process their experiences in order to make meaning (also known as learning styles), leaders are able to honour the diversity in their teams and develop a renewed sense of the need for open dialogue with due respect for members preferences, especially in the context of development.
The LTM and HMI assessments inform Celebrating Diversity.
Appreciating Values
People think and prioritise differently. This section introduces thinking systems which is helpful in understanding the differences in people’s way of thinking and provides insight to people’s value systems. We further explore leadership strengths and how successful leaders leverage their understanding of people’s values coupled with leader strengths to motivate, develop and inspire their team members.

Demonstrating Authenticity
This part of the workshop pulls it all together with a focus on developing others using the 4MAT coaching process. Equipped with the understanding of diversity and an appreciation for how different value systems drive and motivate people – leaders are able to establish authentic interactions with their team members in a coaching relationship. Delegates will explore the coaching model process and have an opportunity for skills practices.
